What Matters Most
Four foundational truths of Christianity
Week 1 – One God in Three Persons, Mark 1:4-11
- Christianity is simple, but it can be easy to forget that in the face of a bewildering variety of doctrines, denominations, and differences. All doctrines matter, but some matter more than others…and only a few matter most.
Week 2 – Sin Separates, Luke 15:11-24
- God hates sin because He loves us! When you sin, it creates a barrier between you and God. Not only that, but the message from sinning is that God is dead to you. When you turn from sin, God is faithful and welcomes us back to restore the relationship. Is sin keeping you from experiencing grace?
Week 3 – The Gospel is Personal, John 4:1-18
- So far, we've covered the Trinity, the separation of sin, and the gift of Jesus as a way back to relationship with God. This week, things get personal. Craig shares that God doesn’t just love the world, generically, He loves each of us individually. The Gospel is personal and it's a difference of believing facts and believing in, or having faith, in Jesus.
Week 4 – The Bible is Reliable, Hebrews 4:12
- This weekend Craig wrapped up our current message series. So far, we've covered the Trinity, the separation of sin, and the gift of Jesus as a way back to relationship with God, and how the gospel is personal. This weekend, we learned how we can trust that the Bible is reliable.
