Ecclesiastes is a raw, intimate, and personal book of the Bible—and it can feel altogether negative. We can walk away wondering what the purpose of life is. We can be tempted to give up and give in.
But as we study this Old Testament book, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. We are going to receive a massive dose of reality where we will see that if you live life apart from God, you will live an utterly meaningless life. We will ultimately discover that the good life is a life that is lived in relationship with the Almighty.
