With our culture seemingly in such constant upheaval and the low state of Christianity, there has been a renewed interest in recent years on rediscovering the faith of the ancient church. In these troubling times, we have been searching anew for the faith once delivered to the Saints, the faith that provides us a sure foundation, the faith that sustains us and connects us with the first Christians.
With this renewed interest, we have begun to see the value in the ancient statements of faith, the creeds of the church. The Apostles’ Creed is a wonderful summary of the basic tenets of the Christian faith, expressing foundational doctrines that all Christians may rally around.
