C.S. Lewis once said that “it would seem that Jesus finds our desires not too strong, but too weak.” We settle for trinkets when God longs to bless us with true treasure. We settle for just getting by when God longs to use us to accomplish great things that we can scarcely imagine. But receiving what God has for us often requires clearing out some clutter first. So, what does it look like to clear the slate this year so that He can write His far-better story in the coming months?
