The Gospel of Jesus is a powerful message that is life-transforming! The fact that all we need to be made free of sin and enter into a new life makes it a simple and powerful message. So why does it seem that we want to add something else besides the blood of Christ to the uncomplicated truth?
This has been going on since the beginning. The book of Galatians is Paul’s appeal to the church in Galatia to return to the simple truth of Jesus and Him only! He spoke to the believers about fighting to keep grace in the forefront, that our responsibility first is to be pleasing to God not a religious system and to keep a solid footing in truth by steering clear of hypocrisy. Apostle Paul reminded them to live a life lead by the Spirit of God, to watch the kind of seed they were sowing and to bear each other's burdens.
How important it is to be reminded of Paul’s words that remain so applicable to our lives as well!
