In this sermon series, we’ll be talking about the 10 Commandments. The 10 Commandments and how they have affected Hebrew culture and really all of Western culture. They have been the bedrock of western thought and law. We will discuss the practical wisdom offered by the 10 Commandments. They help us understand how life works and how the world works. There is a lot of wisdom in something that has been around for 3500 years. Second, these commandments help us to understand the character of God. They don’t just tell us God’s law, but they actually tell us something of who God is. Finally, they actually point to our need for the Gospel and the beauty of the Gospel.
