The letter of 2 Timothy exists for churches to receive and hold fast to certain gospel-priorities, even through great difficulty. Paul is giving a younger pastor a vision for Jesus-centered ministry. Second Timothy shows us how to lead churches to be shaped by the gospel and to spread the gospel, even while suffering for the gospel.
