These seven sermons represent a series on ''The Greatest Villains of the Bible.'' I know we are introduced to other villains in God's Word and some might not include in their series some who appear in mine. But it is my series. Why consider the villains rather than the heroes of the Bible? The heroes of God's Word certainly have earned their place but I personally feel we believers can learn as much from those who oppose God in His Word as we can from those who take their stand for Him.
This series takes a honest view of the villains of God's Word and leaves us with one basic conclusion: ''Even when it appears that evil is winning, that's just the way it appears.'' God is always there, sometimes in the shadows, sometimes in the light, but always keeping watch above His own.
