This is written by Bruce Wilkinson. He has written two very popular book recently. He wrote THE PRAYER OF JABEZ teaching people to claim God's blessings, to enlarge our territory. Then he wrote the book "The Vine" teaching people to depend upon Christ and abide in the Vine. Then this book "A Life God Rewards: Why Everything You Do Today Matters Forever". Let's pause for a moment of prayer and then we'll get into our study. Father, we know there are many needs represented here today, perhaps there are even broken hearts here today. Father we just lift up every person who's come to study your word. We ask, Father, that you would speak to every heart, to every life. Father, even as people have come early this morning, perhaps you had a purpose even in that, to give them time to sit and be quiet for a moment, that you might speak to our hearts, that we might just reflect. For you have said, "Be still and know that I am God."

In this busy world it's very rare that we have time to be still. Because we are so busy our lives are filled with anxiety and pressure. So I pray that in this study we'll see how important everything we do it, and how everything we do can count and can matter for all of eternity. In Christ's name we pray. Amen. Alright. A life God rewards. Now, today we're going to look at two keys and six main events in your life. Two keys in your life and six main events in your future. In Luke 6:22-23 on your outline notice the verse from the words of Jesus. "Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their fathers treated the prophets."
