This morning we want to continue a series of messages on revival. Our theme verse in this series of messages is 2 Chronicles 7:14, a verse that you know by heart, a verse that speaks to the need of the hour, whether it's an individual level, the church level, the national level, or the world level, revival is the great need of the hour. God wants to send revival. God is able to send revival. When revival does not come it means we've not closed the circuit of being obedient to the conditions of God. God says in that verse ''If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land.''

Now last week I preached on the first phrase on that verse, if my people, what it means to be a person in Christ, what it meant to be a true believer in Jesus.I want to take the next phrase. It says ''If my people who are called by my name.'' I want to ask you this morning, are you called by His name? Are you called by His name. You know, in Acts 11:26 the Bible says ''And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.'' Now this term was given to them because it was a term of derision. It was not a badge of honor when they were called Christians. The word Christian meant little Christ. These are a bunch of little Christs. These are a bunch of little people just like Jesus. And the word Christian was first used by the world in derision as the authorities looked down their noses, and the authorities said, ''These are nothing but a bunch of little Christs.''

I'll tell you today, I'd rather be known by that name than any other because the Bible says that's exactly what God is doing in my life. He is conforming me to the image of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. I want you to turn to Acts 4 and verse 13. Are you called by His na ...
