Let me give you a quick update on our partnership with the Cyimbili coffee plantation in Rwanda. We are about one year into a four-year partnership there, and one of the initial things we're doing is helping to improve the sanitation conditions for the 1,300 students and everyone else who lives on the plantation. So last year we helped to install a bathroom facility, and just this past week they sent us some pictures of the second major bathroom. So this is the outside of the bathroom…and this is the pump tank that pumps the contents out to the septic tank. And here is a picture of the septic tank that's being built. It's not every day you get to come to church and see pictures of septic tanks, right? But this is real life; real needs; and the people of Cyimbili continue to be so positive about this partnership. And we're hoping to send another team either late this year or early next year.

A lot of you know that something happened in Rwanda about 16 years ago that just tore the country apart. There was a systematic, government-sponsored killing of about a million people. In other words, a genocide. And I'll tell you what: having been in the country, and getting to know some of the people, it's that much more unthinkable that this actually happened, so recently.

And I was reading an article last week by a guy named David Gushee-and I want you to listen what he wrote:

Rwanda was the most heavily Christianized country in Africa. Some 90 percent of the people identified themselves as Christians. The Roman Catholic Church, to which 65 percent of the population belonged, played a huge role in Rwandan society.
