INTRODUCTION: We have seen that Joseph parallels and illustrates the life of the Lord Jesus Christ. Joseph's life can be divided into four categories. First of all we see Joseph as the beloved son. Secondly we see Joseph as the rejected servant. Thirdly we see Joseph raised up and brought up out of obscurity as a reigning king. And last of all today we will see Joseph as the seeking savior. It was not enough to Joseph that he could feed the world, he wanted the world to be fed. And so he called his brethren to him. First of all he revealed himself to his brethren, secondly he was reconciled to his brethren, thirdly he commissioned his brothers to go back and to tell other people the good news that there was food in Egypt and fourthly he supplied his brothers with everything they needed. And in verse 24 he instructed them "see that ye fall not out by the way." To many today who become discouraged and who "fall out" in their spiritual life there is a tremendous lesson concerning how to keep on keeping on.
