INTRODUCTION: Is there anything greater than knowing that your sins are forgiven, than knowing that Christ dwells in your heart, than knowing that you are right with God and that His Holy Spirit bears witness with your spirit, that you are a child of God? Is there anything better than that? There is something better than knowing you are saved. There is something better than knowing that your sins are forgiven. There is something better than knowing that God's Spirit dwells in your heart, and it is this, knowing that you're saved, knowing your sins are forgiven, knowing that the Holy Spirit dwells in your heart and that you can never lose it.
I. THE PROIMIISE OF THE SCRIPTURE GUARANTEES OUR ASSURANCE
A. This promise is for the possessor of faith not just the professor of faith - Matthew 7:22-24
B. This is a promise for those whom Christ knows - John 10:27
1. .My sheep hear my voice
2. And I know them
3. And they fellow me
4. And I give unto them eternal life and they shall never parish
II. THE PERFECTION OF CHRISTS' SACRIFICE GUARANTEES THE ASSURANCE OF OUR SALVATION - Hebrews 10:14
A. Christ's' death on the cross sanctified us
B. The blood of Jesus does more than give you a new start, it insures the future
C. Your past, present and future is insured by the blood of Jesus Christ - God will not impute sin to any child of God - Romans 4:7
