Introduction: We can emerge from the herd of humanity to experience life uniquely suited to us. We can escape from the blahs of boredom to the bliss of living. Yet, it seems many live in the blahs of the "rut," the sameness of day in and day out. Chuck Colson, in Born Again, asserts there is boredom even with the highly active and successful lives.


I. Person of Distinction

Explanation: "Blessed" -- this is usually associated with circumstances. When they are up, then we are up; when they are down, then we are down. But, that would be "happenstance." "Blessed" has a stronger meaning than "happy." It means that one possesses all he needs to live. To be blessed is to live life with an exclamation point.

Application: Resources for all of life are available to the Christian.

Application: You are unique. You have a distinctively designed life, so you need unique provision.

Application: You are custom-made with a custom-made plan for life. Affirm you are a person of distinction.
