I was reading Genesis chapter 5, which is called the death chapter and saw some interesting things about mankind and death:

Adam lived 930 years and he died
Seth lived 912 years and he died
Enos lived 905 years and he died
Cainan lived 910 years and he died
Mahalaleel lived 895 years and he died
Jared lived 962 years and he died
Methuselah lived 969 years and he died
Lamech lived 777 years and he died
Noah lived 950 years and he died (Genesis 9:29)

The thing that I find in these numbers is that man was designed to live forever. The bodies that we live in were made to last and to never run down or to break down, this is interesting to consider.
