This is the second part of last week's message on building your house for the glory of God.

We are fulfilling the call that God has placed on our lives when we build a house for His glory. The house is our body, our homes, and the church.

So the temple that God desires us to build is in us, and this translates itself right into us building a dwelling place for God in our homes and then it finds its way right into the church.

Listen, our desire is to see you come into all that God has for you. God desires to indwell us. He desires to make His presence known in our homes, and he desires to pour out His glory on the church.

Here is how God wants you to build your house:
1. Lay the foundation
2. Use the right materials
3. Frame it up
4. Cover it
5. Build the walls
6. Make sure you have Power
7. Fill it with furnishings
8. Keep it clean
9. Be careful who you let in

1, 2. Lay the foundation / Use the right materials

1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.

Jesus is the foundation - the chief cornerstone. Without Jesus there is no sturdy structure, and without Jesus there will never be any glory because He is the brightness of God's glory and the express image of His person (Hebrews 1:3)
