1 Corinthians 2:11-16
Today I am beginning a brand New Series called New: Discovering God's New Life For You! I believe that we need to understand what it means that we are called New Creations In Christ. What does that mean and how does it work out in our lives.
I. We Have Been GIVEN the Mind of Christ
A. You have been freely given.
1. You don't' have to qualify or earn it.
2. Your mindset now has become new.
Key Pt: When did you receive a new mind? When you turned from your sin
To Jesus and trusted Him and you became a New Creation by birth

B. The Mind of Christ - Think Supernatural, To live in the all things are possible
Mindset.
1. What does it mean to have the Mind of Christ.
2. You now have a Mind Set of knowing you are loved by the Father.
3. You now want to do what the Father wants you to do.
4. You have a mind set of obedience to the things of God.
5. Life is not about you but about living for Christ! 2 Cor. 5:15
So here are the things to do
II. Reject Every Lie
A. God's Word is truth
1. Whatever thought that does not line up with God's Word we must reject!!
2. Jesus said the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth.
B. The Enemy's main weapon are lies.
1. The devil wants you to believe a lie.
2. When he speaks he speaks lies. John 8:44
C. We can cast down every thought 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 NKJV
1. You cast down and pull down every thought.
2. You bring every thought into the obedience of Christ.
Key Pt: Well Pastor I was rejected. You may have been rejected by a person but you

III. Renew Your Mind - Romans 12:2 NLT
A. Don't be conformed to this world
1. Don't think like people who don't know God.
2. Don't conform any longer to the patterns of this world
