Today I am continuing our series "Thinking For A Change." I believe that what God is looking for is change. We don't call it change but rather maturity. But we must realize that maturity is really about change. Everyone of us want to mature so that we can be more successful in all areas of our lives. In order for us to change we must recognize that change is a process not an event.
It is the process of change that I want to help all of us with in this sermon series. I believe that the Process of Change begins with our thinking. The Bible declares in Proverbs 23:7 "For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he…" The way we are is the result of how we think about ourselves. Many times the way other people view us is the result of how we view ourselves.
Remember this: You will never change your life until you change the way you think.

Romans 12:2 "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by
Renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and
Acceptable and perfect will of God.
Matthew 12:34 "…For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks."
Proverbs 18:21 "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who
love it will eat its fruit."
I Peter 3:10 "He who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his
tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.
Lets talk about Speaking Your Mind. The Power Of Your Words
I. We Know Words Have Creative Power.
Hebrews 11:3 "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word
Of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things
Which are visible."

1. We see in the creation story God speaking.
2. We see God speaking and it was so.
