I want you to take your Bible and turn to 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2 as we continue our thoughts about the Middle East and about the end times and about what we see happening in our world today. Today’s message is entitled, “The Coming World Dictator”.
We have a dictator who has purposed to the war in the Middle East, who has purposed to control the oil of the world. He has come in as a man of war but the Bible talks about one who will come in the last days as a man of peace.
He will be successive in gaining of the oil, not only the oil but of all the power of all of the power, of all the glory, the political input of the world. He will be a dictator who will control all of the world. The Bible calls him the beast, the antichrist, the man of sin.
There are many who have been types of the antichrist but we have not yet seen the antichrist and yet it is possible that he could be alive in the world today being prepared for the career that he will one day have as the ruler of the entire world.
Look at 2 Thessalonians 2 Verse 1. “NOW WE BESEECH YOU, BRETHREN, BY THE COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND BY OUR GATHERING TOGETHER UNTO HIM,
THAT YE BE NOT SOON SHAKEN IN MIND, OR BE TROUBLED, NEITHER BY SPIRIT, NOR BY WORD, NOR BY LETTER AS FROM US, AS THAT THE DAY OF CHRIST IS AT HAND.
LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU BY ANY MEANS: FOR THAT DAY SHALL NOT COME, EXCEPT THERE COME A FALLING AWAY FIRST, AND THAT MAN OF SIN BE REVEALED, THE SON OF PERDITION;
WHO OPPOSETH AND EXALTETH HIMSELF ABOVE ALL THAT IS CALLED GOD, OR THAT IS WORSHIPPED; SO THAT HE AS GOD SITTETH IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD, SHEWING HIMSELF THAT H ...
