We want you to take God’s word and turn to Ephesians Chapter 6; we’re going to begin reading in Verse 10. We’ve talked about all that Satan is doing today, about the occult, devil worship. What can believers do about the works of Satan?
Well, I’m happy to tell you today that we don’t have to sit idly by. We don’t have to just surrender or hold fort. The Bible teaches that God has given us some very special weapons that we can use in our defense against the devil.
That’s what we want to talk about today; about the weapons, those mighty weapons that are not carnal but they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. Every believer has available to him these weapons with which we can wage spiritual warfare against the devil.
Now if you will look in Verse 10 of Ephesians Chapter 6 we want to read this passage of scripture. The apostle Paul says, “FINALLY, MY BRETHREN, BE STRONG IN THE LORD, AND IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT.
PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD, THAT YE MAY BE ABLE TO STAND AGAINST THE WILES OF THE DEVIL. FOR WE WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES, AGAINST POWERS, AGAINST THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD, AGAINST SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES.
WHEREFORE TAKE UNTO YOU THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD, THAT YE MAY BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND IN THE EVIL DAY, AND HAVING DONE ALL, TO STAND. STAND THEREFORE, HAVING YOUR LOINS GIRT ABOUT WITH TRUTH, AND HAVING ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS;
AND YOUR FEET SHOD WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; ABOVE ALL, TAKING THE SHIELD OF FAITH, WHEREWITH YOU SHALL BE ABLE TO QUENCH ALL THE FIERY DART ...
