1. STOP FRETTING and REMEMBER GOD IS WITH YOU.
“Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you!” Vs. 17b (NLT)
“I will fear no evil, for you are with me.” Psalm 23:4 (NIV)
“… If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 (NIV)
2. STOP FEARING AND GIVE THE BATTLE OVER TO GOD.
“Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours but God’s.” Vs. 15b (NLT)
“I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
Psalm 23:4 (NIV)

Well, today we're concluding the series on the 23rd Psalm as we've been looking at how to live a balanced life. It's really difficult though to stay balanced when life has so many ups and downs, and every one of us go through dark valleys; but the psalmist, David, tells us that even in the middle of our darkest valley God can work a miracle and dispel all fear.
So open your Bibles to the 23rd Psalm, and we're going to look at the last part of the 23rd Psalm. So would you stand in honor of God's word and just follow along with me?
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. “
Dear God, I thank you that you're here right night and that everyone within the sound of my voice whether they're at a satellite campus or here in the Woodlands or worship with us through our online broadcast ministry somewhere on the other side of the world, you know where they're at and you know Lord that many are walking through dark valleys right now because every one of us goes through dark valleys in our life, and I know that you can work a miracle right in the middle of the mess. You can work a miracle right in the middle of our most difficult problems, and we pray for that right now. We pray to you, Good Shepherd, to protect us and strengthen us and to fight for us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

David says in life you will go through dark valleys. There will be dark valleys of deep disappointment. There will be dark valleys of delays, difficulties and dead ends, and some of you are walking through a dark valley right now, a dark valley of dead end, and the walls are closing in and it seems like there's just no way out. You're confused. You don't know what to do. You're about to throw in the towel.
