INTRODUCTION: Possibly no aspect of the end times is directly related to our area, and to some of your lives personally that chapters 15-16 of Revelation. How many of you are in the defense industry or someone in your family is? It may be that some of you are developing systems, weapons, strategies that will be employed in this final battle Armageddon, World War III.
When God was preparing to Judge Sodom and Gomorrah he said: Genesis 18:17–18 (ESV)
17 The Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do, 18 seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
Abraham was called God’s friend and God shows His friends what He intends to do.
CONTEXT:
Rev. 1-3: Messages to the Churches
Rev. 4-9: Chronology of Judgement (seals, trumpets)
Rev. 10-15: The People of the Last Days
Rev. 16-22: Chronology of Judgement (bowls)
Ok we are returning now to the chronological portion of the book of Revelation. Remember where it left off - Israel forms a 7 year treaty with Anti-Christ. During that time they return to temple worship and sacrifices. They dwell in peace and safety in the land. They go as far as even disarming because of the great confidence they have in this man Anti-Christ. Then about 3.5 years into the treaty Anti-Christ breaks the treaty.

1 Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and amazing, seven angels with seven plagues, which are the last, for with them the wrath of God is finished.
Previously you’ve see in the seals and trumpets the wrath of God in fractions - 1/3, 1/4 destroyed. Now it’s total.
