Aww it’s good to see all of you. It’s been fun catching up with you. A number of you I’ve heard stories. Some of you have gone through very challenging summers and I got to pray with you through that. And others of you had great summers and everything in between. But its good to see you, to see your faces, to know that God has been faithful to you as you’ve gone through it. One of the things that we do this weekend if you’re new to the church; is I talk to you about some of the lessons that I’ve learned over the summer. I’m gonna do that for a couple of weeks. I’m not gonna make it through the outline, I haven’t made it through yet so I don’t think I’ll make it through this time either. But we are gonna have a great week together. But one of the things that we do as we start the fall of is, what we know is all parents here are excited cause kids are back in school and all the parents are exhausted cause you had a summer going ahhh. And all of the teachers and administrators are so thrilled cause you are ready and excited for the ministry you have this next year. So what we want to do is affirm you and pray for you. So if you are a teacher, an administrator, a volunteer in a classroom, you are a coach, if you home school your children, if you are involved in the educational system in some way would you stand? We want to bless you, thank you, and then we are gonna pray for you. So all of the teachers up. [Clapping] We are so grateful. So as a church we extend a hand of blessing towards you. This is our way to stay involved in the prayer, so this is a prayer of everyone. Father we ask that you bless these men and woman who you call to this ministry of guiding, leading, shaping, the future generation. We ask, as their classrooms are now full with excited students, confused students, hurting students, and everything in between.
