Christmas Is God's Idea
Rex Yancey
John 1:1-5, 14-18

Lucy is chasing Charlie Brown and shouting, "I'll get you Charlie Brown! I'll knock your block off!" Suddenly he stops and says, "Wait a minute! Hold everything! We can't carry on like this! We have no right to act this way. The world is filled with problems, people hurting other people, people not understanding other people. If we children can't solve what are relatively minor problems, how we ever expect to..." In mid sentence she hits him with a left to the jaw and says, "I had to hit him quick! Christmas is not the idea of the philosophers or politicians. Christmas was born in the heart of God from eternity. The story of Christmas was played out on earth but it was scripted in heaven.

I want us to look at three things this morning concerning Christmas.

1. JESUS IS THE LANGUAGE OF HEAVEN.

Who is Jesus? The Bible is the Wri ...
