God is for you, now, in all your ups, downs and the good and the bad. God is for you. Today we delve into a character in Scripture who God convinced that He was for him. Do you need a little or maybe a lot of convincing that God is for you? He is not against you. He is on your side. The Gideon factor is where God takes the weak, fearful, unbelieving person and uses them to do wonderful things. The story of Gideon has been repeated in each person's life - the billions living today and throughout history. Today, you are a Gideon. God seeks to reveal Himself to you. Daniel says, "Those who know their God will do great exploits." Jesus promises the Holy Spirit power to enable His followers to do greater things than you could ever imagine. God is for you to do amazing things.

A. DEFINITION
God is for me all the time: in the good and the bad, when I'm doing great and when I fail, in disappointments and discouragements, extraordinary trouble and pain, God is all-powerful, always loving and ready to help me - right now!
B. SCRIPTURES
1. Psalm 56:9, God's Word: Then my enemies will retreat when I call to you. This I know: God is on my side.
GNT: The day I call to you, my enemies will be turned back. I know this: God is on my side.
2. Isa. 41:10, MSG: Don't panic. I'm with you. There's no need to fear for I'm your God. I'll give you strength. I'll help you. I'll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.
C. GOD IS FOR ME TO DO AMAZING THINGS
God is for the unlikely heroes, sinful people, failing people, flawed and weak people.
