Going Deeper in Prayer

Introduction

Most people know what Prayer is. Most people pray to God in times of desperation. They cry out to God when they're in a crisis. They call upon the name of the Lord when they need deliverance. They beseech the Lord to answer them when they are in a time of lack. They petition God when they want something really badly.

It was a river that could not be passed. It picked Ezekiel up and sent him down the river of God.

• Reading your devotional, or just reading the Bible as your prayer time is good, but it's ankle deep prayer.
• Praying throughout your day is good but it's knee deep prayer.

It is time to go deeper.

Turn with me to Matthew 26:35 Peter said to Him, "Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You! ...
