Over the last 3 weeks, I have been talking about the WILL OF GOD.
God has a will, a desire and a dream for you.
God's Will is in His Word.
God's will and testament was ratified by the blood of Christ and activated by the death of Christ. We are the children, the heirs, those that would receive the rights to the inheritance which includes all the blessings, gifts, and promises in this life and the life to come.
We talked about sanctification.
1 Thessalonians 4:3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor.
It is the will of God that you that you stand out from the crowd. We are not supposed to be going the way of the world, but living a life that signifies, manifests, and testifies the very holiness of God. I gave you motivation by telling you that this sanctification was given to you at salvation, and now through the process of transformation and renewal, you are being sanctified. Listen, our holiness is not of us, it is of the Holy Spirit that lives in us, and our righteousness is not of us, it is of the Righteous One who died for us and covered us in His blood. So now let what you do line up with what you are.
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Let the perfect work that He has already accomplished in your spirit, now make its way through your soul and your body.
Last week, we learned that God's motivation and desire is to SAVE MANKIND!
Statement: It is God's Will to Save People! Not some, not a few but ALL.
1 Timothy 2:4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
The word "DESIRES" in vs 4 means:
