Communion
We are about to partake of the table of the Lord - the Body and blood of Jesus. Communion is about Communing with Him and communing with each other. It is about Community and Unity. Can't have community without unity.
We should pursue the things which make for peace. We are one body with one Spirit. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you. The Spirit in you is the same Spirit that is in me and in you and in you and in you. That is the only way we can be unified. Keep the Unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. I didn't say Unison. I said Unity. Unison means that we are all singing the same notes. How many know that there is unity in Harmony. And there is a depth. We are not supposed to be the same. We are supposed to be different. But together we make a beautiful sound.
There must be unity with no division, no schisms. Whatever it takes. I don't care if you have to go make it right with someone or call someone or text someone before you partake of the Body and Blood of Jesus, but go and do it now. We will sing for another minute. Close your eyes and bring yourself into unity with Him.
