It's so good to see you this morning. I appreciate you're being here and for the wonderful way that you've sung and worshiped the Lord. I'm glad today that I can have an experience with Jesus like we have when we come into this place. Amen? When you walk through these doors, you feel His presence.

This morning I want to invite your attention to Mark Chapter 11. The Gospel of Mark Chapter 11 and I want to begin reading in Verse 12. I want to speak this morning on the subject "Fruit or Foliage".

We are in the last days of the life of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark. He's on His way to the cross. He has made His triumphant entry into Jerusalem and at the end of the week He will be killed, He will be crucified and so everything that happens during this time is extremely important.

Much of it is also prophetic concerning the last days and we are going to be seeing that these things that take place in the life of Jesus at this particular time are a forecast and a shadow and a type of the last days and how it is going to be before the coming of Christ.

Notice in Mark 11 Verse 12, "AND ON THE MORROW, WHEN THEY WERE COME FROM BETHANY, HE WAS HUNGRY: AND SEEING A FIG TREE AFAR OFF HAVING LEAVES, HE CAME, IF HAPLY HE MIGHT FIND ANY THING THEREON: AND WHEN HE CAME TO IT, HE FOUND NOTHING BUT LEAVES; FOR THE TIME OF FIGS WAS NOT YET.

AND JESUS ANSWERED AND SAID UNTO IT, NO MAN EAT FRUIT OF THEE HEREAFTER FOR EVER. AND HIS DISCIPLES HEARD IT."

Then look with me at Verse 20, "AND IN THE MORNING, AS THEY PASSED BY, THEY SAW THE FIG TREE DRIED UP FROM THE ROOTS. AND PETER CALLING TO REMEMBRANCE SAITH UNTO HIM, MASTER, BEHOLD, THE FIG TREE WHICH THOU CURSEDST IS WITHERED AWAY."
