I.GOD WILL NOT HEAR A SAVIORLESS PRAYER
II. GOD WILL NOT HEAR SPITEFUL PRAYERS
III. GOD WILL NOT HEAR SKEPTICAL PRAYERS

What happens when God doesn't answer prayer? Now I said in the previous lesson that God answers prayer with either a "Yes", sometimes it's a "No", sometimes it's "Wait", and sometimes God answers in a way that we did not want Him to answer.
But there are sometimes when God doesn't even hear prayer and if you don't believe that the Bible says that prayer can even be an abomination.
In Proverbs 28:9, listen to this verse; 'HE THAT TURNETH AWAY HIS EAR FROM HEARING THE LAW, EVEN HIS PRAYER SHALL BE AN ABOMINATION." So there's a spiritual condition that you can be in that makes your prayers unheard to God; He chooses not to hear them.
Then in Isaiah 1 Verse 13 and 15, here's God telling the people of Israel not to pray and not to pray anyway in the attitude and spirit in which they were praying.
He said, "BRING NO MORE VAIN OBLATIONS, INCENSE IS AN ABOMINATION UNTO ME; THE NEW MOONS AND SABBATHS, THE CALLING OF ASSEMBLIES, I CANNOT AWAY WITH; IT IS INIQUITY, EVEN THE SOLEMN MEETING.
YOUR NEW MOONS AND YOUR APPOINTED FEASTS MY SOULD HATETH; THEY ARE A TROUBLE UNTO ME; I AM WEARY TO BEAR THEM." And of course this was a time of idolatry, a time when the nation of Israel had turned its back on God as a people and yet they were going through the motions.
I think a lot of churches are going through the motions and they are going through worship and they are going through prayer and they are reading prayers and they are saying prayers and God says, "I'm just tired of this. Just don't bother me."
And that was because there was a lack of sincerity and there was a lack of genuineness about their prayer life. So I want us to look tonight at the topic ...
