I'm beginning a new series today where I'll be starting creatively each week with a summer blockbuster movie that tends to become such a part of our culture. Then I'm going to turn to God's word for the real action, and we're going to learn some life-changing truths over the next several weeks.
Now I want to make a disclaimer before I begin this series. I'm not recommending all of these movies by any means. In fact, I haven't even seen most of them. But, I do want to give two big thumbs up to God's word, so let's get right into it as we're going to learn how to "Break Out of the Matrix of Fear and Find God's Reality." So, take out your outlines from your program and get right into it. Oh oh.... Hmmm.... I don't have my sermon outline up here! I'm so embarrassed! This has never happened to me before. Pastor Stan always brings out my Bible and the podium and the sermon outline, and it's not there. I don't know if he's kidding me or what, but I don't have my sermon outline. I'm glad you guys love me just the way I am. I can be real in front of you because...thank you..... (Applause) I've got to go get my sermon outline, so I've got to find Pastor Stan. Pastor Stan, are you around? Pastor Stan, is that you? No, that's not you!
