"Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are; help us to spend them as we should." Psalm 90:12 (LB)
Normal people don't recognize
• Time is linear
• Time is limited
• Time is life
"Live life, then, with a due sense of responsibility, not as men who do not know the meaning and purpose of life but as those who do. Make the best use of your time, despite all the difficulties of these days. Don't be vague but firmly grasp what you know to be the will of God." Eph. 5:15-17 (Ph)
1. IS IT WORTH MY LIFE?
• The Principle of Priorities
"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" Mark 8:36-37 (NKJ)
"Live life, then, with a due sense of responsibility, not as men who do not know the meaning and purpose of life but as those who do." Eph. 5:15 (Ph)

Last weekend we kicked off this thing we are calling the "Be Weird Challenge" and it is all because normal is not really working and it is based on the new book my friend Craig Groeschel, the pastor of Life Church and basically last week we got it started, we kicked it off, but it really begins this week because all of the "Be Weird" small groups start this week and we want everyone to be in a "Be Weird" small group, the "Be Weird Challenge" group and right now we have over 1,000 host homes, we are moving up to 1,500 host homes. That is almost 15,000 people over Houston meeting once a week to really study the book, watch the DVDs that I and our pastors teach, just 15 minutes, 15-20 minutes one night a week, so I hope everyone of you will host a "Be Weird Challenge" group and the whole thing is based on the words of Jesus who said there is this wide road that most people, normal people are on, but that wide road leads to destruction, devastation, devastated emotions, devastated relationships, devastated lives, but then, Jesus said there is this narrow road that few people are on, but it leads to life. So if you want what normal people have, then do what normal people do, but if you want what few people have, do what few people do. If you want a normal life, which is having an overloaded schedule, being overwhelmed and stressed out all of the time and feeling empty on the inside, then do what normal people do, but if you want what few people have, peace and joy, fulfillment, meaning security, then you have got to get off of the normal road and onto the narrow road and you got to get weird in a good way, weird God's way. Now, I think most of us really want to break free from normal and experience what few people really experience in life on this narrow road, but the question is "how".
