We said last week that the foundational piece to the passion puzzle is love. Because love is what fuels the flames of passion in a marriage. It's love. Love is what fuels the productivity in the workplace. People don't succeed at what they don't love. So, I think it's only appropriate eon Valentine's Weekend that we talk about the source of all passion, which is love. Over the next few weeks we are going to be talking about the four ingredients to a passionate life, but the most important ingredient is the source of all passion and that is love. I have to say that Valentine's Day is really tough on men. We guys have it tough on Valentine's Day because women can be very complicated and they read so much into the gifts that we give them. We men are just simple folk, that's all. But, women can be very complicated. I came across this list of the top ten simple things that men want women to understand. And, women, if you understand this, you understand men. We're really very simple. These are the top ten simple things that men wish women would understand about them. I'll do it like Letterman.
10 - If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of those ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one.
Just simple things. We're really very simple ladies.
9 - Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. Don't complain. Don't gripe. It's simple. These are just ten simple things that men really wished women understood.
8 - We're not thinking about you. Live with it.
Now, these are ten simple things that somebody wrote me and told me about. I didn't make these up, honey. These are not things that I want you to understand about me.
7 - When we have to go somewhere absolutely anything you wear is fine. Really.
6 - Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it because that's what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.
These simple things, if you get these, things will go great in your relationship.
5 - Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during the commercials if you can.

3 - If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that. It's no big deal. Just simple things.
