Have you seen the new hit show on the Discovery Channel called Man vs. Wild? The star is a survivor specialist by the name of Bear Grylls. You've got to love that name. With a name like Bear Grylls you have to be tough. Every week they drop Bear in some of the most remote places on the face of the earth - like the outback of Australia or the jungles of the Amazon and he has to survive and somehow find his way back to civilization. He has no food, almost no water and very few supplies, but Bear will do extreme things in order to survive. He was in Iceland one time and it was sub-freezing temperatures and he came across a dead sheep that apparently had fallen from a ledge. Bear takes out his knife, cuts the eye ball out of the sheep, then takes one of his shoelaces and threads it through the eye and then goes over and finds a volcanic hot spring and boils the eye and then he gets so excited because he says this eye is chocked full of vitamins and he eats it. This guy is nuts. Now there are some reports out that say Bear Grylls isn't as tough as he appears to be. In fact, one of his camera crew recently accused him of actually staying in nice hotels on some of the shoots. So apparently Bear is not as extreme as he appears to be, but I want you to know your pastor is. I'm staring in a new show that's called Pastor vs. Wild. I didn't say Pastors Gone Wild. I want to clarify that. It's on the recovery channel. It's channel 7438 on your new Comcast. You may have seen it. We just taped the first episode and they actually dropped me into the rain forest of Houston and I'm trying to make my way and survive. I think we've got a clip from the first episode. Guys can you run that clip? I just parachuted into the woods, these deep woods, that's about the only way you can get in here and my journey is about to begin. I'll come back and get that, but I'll tell you what I have to do. I have to survive and it's not going to be easy in these woods. Probably no one has ever been in these woods. Maybe the ancient Aztecs or maybe the Incas, I'm not sure which, but I am the first human being probably to be in these woods in probably the last, I don't know, several hundred years. All I have with me to survive is my canteen filled with a little bit of water and a small pocket knife to try to fend off anything that might come my way. Now, well, forget the pocket knife.
