We have professional Motocross racer Steve Dennis back with us again today. And, Steve, you've got to tell me, buddy, how long have you been doing this? You make it look so easy.
STEVE: About 28 years now.
PASTOR KERRY: Twenty-eight years. So when did you start -- how old were you?
STEVE: Four.
PASTOR KERRY: Four years old. Can you imagine a four-year-old doing this? Now, you make it look so easy, but I know it's really dangerous. So have you ever been injured? And if you have, tell us about your injuries.
STEVE: Well, you got a minute?
PASTOR KERRY: Yeah.
STEVE: A total of nine broken ribs, two broken wrists, collarbone, scapula, and punctured lung.
PASTOR KERRY: Wow, so moms are you excited about your kids getting into this sport now?
STEVE: That's over 28 years.
PASTOR KERRY: Spread that over 28 years and that's not that bad. Tell me about your worst crash.
STEVE: Probably when I did the lung and the three broken ribs and broken scapula was all in one deal. There is a section that they call whoops, where it's smaller jumps all one right after another, and instead of rolling each one, the fastest way is to skim the very tip top of each one, just clip a little bit of each one. I was going through them faster than anybody that day. How are you doing that? How are you doing? Well, I don't know and I got a little out of whack one time and started swapping and high sided and so maybe I was doing it just a little too fast, but I got three ribs, a punctured lung and a broken scapula.
PASTOR KERRY: Well, everybody on our staff team has been telling me, Kerry, what you need to do the last weekend of this series, you need to do the jump. Have Steve train you, work on it -- that's a risk you're willing to take, isn't it? They were really serious about it. I tell you what, guys; I've got a better idea. God spoke to me and told me not to do that and here is my idea. Why don't we put a helmet cam on Steve and that way all of us who are wimps and would never do anything this crazy can see his perspective at least, what it's like. So how about that, guys? He's got a helmet cam on. How about a couple more jumps. Let's cheer him on, guys.
PASTOR KERRY: Yeah. Yeah! Thank you, Steve. We're in this series that I'm calling Motocross, Living Life Full Throttle. We're having a lot of fun.
