I discovered after I started my new series last weekend that the ice cream truck came down my street for the first time since last summer. Well, needless to say, our whole family ran out and waived him down and I was amazed to remember all the different choices that they make available to you. All the different flavors that you can choose from. In fact one of my kids choose their favorite which is this right here the Strawberry Shortcake. It doesn't really taste like Strawberry Shortcake, but anyway one of my kids liked this. Who wants a Strawberry Shortcake? There you go. Then one of my kids chose this right here. The classic. The bomb pop. The red, white and blue. Who wants a bomb pop? Does anybody like bomb pops? Okay, there you go. Then one of my kids chose the traditional ice cream sandwich. You can't beat the ice cream sandwich. Who wants an ice cream sandwich? I just throw them, God chooses you. Here's my favorite. This little beauty is called the choco taco. It's an essential part of a healthy diet. Who wants the choco taco? There you go. Put a little hot sauce on that and it'll set you free. I had a tough time making the choice because my philosophy is don't waste calories on something unless it's absolutely fantastic. In life there is a much more important and difficult choice we have to make. How do you know what sweet dream to choose in life? There are a lot of choices out there and you don't want to waste your life going for a dream that's not from God. That's why we started this new series last weekend I'm calling Dreamsicle. It's all about how to thaw out your frozen dreams because we said last week that every one of us start out with sweet dreams of what life can be. We all know deep down inside that we were made for something good and grand and that God has a great plan for our lives, but it seems like the problems and the blizzards of life come in and freeze out our dreams. We get frostbit with the bitter cold of disappointments, delays and difficulties that really put our dreams on ice. Today my message is called ice sculpture because we are going to learn how to carve through the ice to really find God's dream for our life. We are going to look at one of the greatest dreamers in the Bible, Joseph. When we look at Joseph we see that God gives ordinary people great dreams.
