Did you paddle in? Are you wet? Alright. We're dry in here, aren't we? I want you to give a warm welcome to our international television audience and let them know that you are glad they are here as well. Never despise small things. It's amazing how a small seed planted in the ground can grow into a large tree that lasts for generations to come. But the question I have today is, is it possible to live a life that will last for generations? Is it possible to live your life in such a way that its impact is felt for a thousand years? Is that possible? Well, I not only believe it's possible, I also believe that's the kind of life that we were meant to live. That's why I'm starting what may be the most important series we have ever done. I'm calling it generations. It's how to live a life that outlasts you. At the end of our four-week series it will be our 13th anniversary as a church. We are turning 13. We're going to be a teenager. It's exciting. We are going to have a huge celebration. This is going to be such an impactful series. Fellowship of The Woodlands is really the story of never despising small beginnings because we started 13 years ago with 15 people in a home in The Woodlands. Now we are one of the 20 largest churches in America. They recently did a survey of pastors and church leaders all across the country and they asked them, "What church do you look to the most for influence?" They compiled a book that just came out this last week, "America's 50 Most Influential Churches," and you're in there. We're one of the 50 most influential churches in America that people are looking to. People ask us all the time, what's the secret to Fellowship of The Woodlands' growth? The answer to that is real simple - God. God's power. God uses people and God is using you. You are the most unselfish, faith-filled people I know of. That's why this last year we were able to meet the needs of over a million hurting people with medical supplies, school supplies, groceries, food, on and on I could go. Benevolence needs. It was amazing what God did through you. Over a million people through our over 100 ministries were touched. Also through our missions and our orphanages all around the world and through our disaster relief that we went into last year with the hurricane. Over a million people. A big church makes a big difference. I want us to open our Bibles to Psalm 145. Would you stand in honor of God's Word because this is our key passage throughout the whole series. This should be the key verse through all of our lives.
