When God wants to do a work in your life, He puts a dream in your heart. God has placed dreams deep within all of our hearts. It's just that the difficulties and disappointments of life tend to bury our dreams over time, but that's okay because God has the power to resurrect our dreams and He has the power to do things even beyond anything we can dream of.
I want you to open your Bibles to Ephesians 3:20, one of my favorite passages and would you stand in honor of God's Word and just read this out loud with me? "Now glory be to God, who by His mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of -- infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes."
Dear God I thank You that You're here right now and You're the one that puts dreams deep within our hearts and I know there are many here today or many at one of our satellite campuses or many worshiping online who have seen their dreams die and Lord I know that You can resurrect dreams. I know that You can do amazing extraordinary things in our lives so I pray that You would right now, that You'd work miracles Lord in our hearts, that You would just lift our burdens and You would let us know Lord that You are God. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

There is a real misconception that the great men and women of the Bible were these super heroes, extraordinary super heroes with extraordinary super-hero powers and that's just not the case. They were ordinary men and women, just like you and me. It's just they put their faith completely in an extraordinary God and they believed that He could fulfill the extraordinary dreams that He placed within their heart.
We're in this series I'm calling Extraordinary and we're going to look at a guy in the Old Testament today named Joseph who was an ordinary guy, but he had an extraordinary dream from God and it really shows us the stages that God always brings us through when He gives us a dream and these are the stages that really build and grow our faith. God takes us through these stages over and over again. We see it all through Scripture. I've seen it in my life over and over again. When God wants to work in your life, He brings you through these stages.
