Well, I started my own personal blog a couple of weeks ago and I've been sharing my daily experiences. You probably now know more about Pastor Kerry then you want to. But, I've been sharing everything from my insecurities to my control issues to communication and relationships to prayer. Chris and I have read every one of your responses and I have to say that we have been so moved by your personal stories on your spiritual journey. We also want to say that we really appreciate the honesty and openness with which you've shared your struggles with us and asked your questions about life. We really are learning from you and we hope you are learning from us. We feel this deep connection. So, if you haven't blogged with us yet it's blogfotw.org. blogfotw.org, it's as simple as that. I encourage you to log on and I'll get to share with you my experiences and what God is teaching me. But, more importantly, you can read what God is teaching all of us here. The stories are just powerful. We are concluding this series today that we have been in the last several weeks I'm calling blog as I'm sharing with you the four principles that have changed my life the most on my personal, spiritual journey. We put an acrostic of the word blog. I said that B stands for the principle of belonging. The power of belonging. Then we said that L last week, the principle of leading. This power of leadership. Leading is all about serving.
Today I want us to look at the two principles that are left because they go together. O stands for Obeying. It's obeying God no matter what. G is Giving. These have been the two keys to unlocking the door of God's blessing in my life and in my marriage and in my family and ministry. These are the two keys that changed my life forever on my personal, spiritual journey because these are the only two keys that unlock the door of God's blessing in your life. Let's just say this house behind me represents the place of God's blessing and favor. The place of God's blessing and favor is where we all want to live on a daily basis on our spiritual journey. When we think of the word blessing, usually we think of financial blessings. But in the Bible the word blessing means so much more than that. It can include financial blessing, but it means so much more than that.
