(Music) Each year we are given, we are given the chance, a chance to start fresh. A chance to start clean. We are given, given the gift of a new day and the power to make the most of each day given. The time is now and now is here. Everything changes, today.
How many of you had one of these, an Etch-A-Sketch as a kid? Raise your hand. Yea. I mean these things are so much fun and with a little bit of practice you can actually do some very creative things with an Etch-A-Sketch. In fact, our technical team has built what I believe is one of the worlds largest Etch-A-Sketchs. Guys, go ahead and spin it around and what's even more amazing is that they have wirelessly connected the Etch-A-Sketch that I'm holding in my hand with the big screen on the Etch-A-Sketch behind me and what I'm going to attempt to do, don't clap yet. You haven't seen anything. Hold the applause please. You'll be glad you did. What I'm going to attempt to do is draw something I've been working on for several weeks now and I'm okay. I'm not great. I'll admit that but I've been working on it and I think it will be fairly impressive. So, well let's do it. Here goes guys. See if I can remember some of these lines. Yes, okay. I'm sorry I'm going so slow. I'll try to speed it up a little bit. There. That last part is the toughest. Now you can clap. That was worth it. Surfing the internet I actually found real people who are true Etch-A-Sketch artists. That's all they do is draw amazing pictures like this on the Etch-A-Sketch and somehow they freeze it and then they sell it, a true Etch-A-Sketch artist. But, if you're an average person like me what I like about the Etch-A-Sketch most is what you do when you mess up. Do you remember what you would do when you made a mistake in drawing on the Etch-A-Sketch? Yea, you turn it over. You shake it and it wipes the slate clean. I am so thankful we have an Etch-A-Sketch kind of God. When I take all my mistakes, my sins, my bad decisions and my failures to him he wipes the slate clean. He turns the page and he gives me a fresh start. We have an Etch-A-Sketch kind of God. It says in Colossians 2:13, "when you were stuck in your old sin dead life you are incapable of responding to God." God brought you alive right along with Christ. Think of it, all sins forgiven, the slate wiped clean.
