Have you ever had a plan that you thought was airtight? I mean, you thought everything through. You lined everything up perfectly. I mean, it was going to be a great plan for God, for you and for everyone else. But, then it just goes up in smoke. The whole thing just collapses. Maybe you can relate to this famous scene in the movie Apollo 13. Just watch.
We've got a couple of housekeeping procedures for you. We'd like you to roll right to 060 and know your rates.

Those famous words… Houston we have a problem.
We're concluding the series we've been in the last several weeks on how to deal with the people, the pressures and the problems that suck the life out of us. And today we're talking about overcoming overwhelming problems, overcoming the overwhelming problems you face.
Jesus said: In this world you will have trouble. He was saying: I'm going to shoot straight with you. In this world there will always be problems. There will always be pain. You'll always have difficulties in this world. So don't ever think that you're going to get to this place where you'll be problem free on this earth. No, that's heaven, and we're not there yet. He was saying: Don't ever think that … well, if I can just get through this one problem, then everything is going to be perfect in my life. If I could just get through this stressful season, because right now it's crazy, but I'm just about through it, and if I can just get through this stressful season, then it will be smooth sailing. If I can just get through this huge difficulty that seems to shadow me everywhere I go, then everything is going to be great in my life. Don't ever think that because you'll be so stressed out. It creates so much stress, this unrealistic expectation that one day you're going to have no problems here on this earth.
