Series: Now That's a Tough One: Answering the Difficult Questions of Life

Romans 1:18-25
George was playing golf with a doctor friend of his. And he said to him, "Hey, doc. I think my wife is starting to lose her hearing." And he said, "Really?" He said, "Yeah, but, you know, she doesn't want to go to the doctor. She doesn't want to get checked out. And I really don't know what to do about it." He said, "Well, why don't you just test her hearing without her knowing about it." He said, "Well, how do you think I should do that?" He said, "Well, just come up behind her sometime when she can't see you and do a little test to see if she can hear you. Say something in a hushed tone to see if she can hear. And you can just kind of gauge it based on that." And he said, "Okay, I'll do it." So he gets home from playing golf. His wife was in the kitchen. She was making dinner. She was by the sink cutting some things up. And he said, "Well, here's a good opportunity." So he was at the doorway, and he said, "Honey, can you hear me?" Nothing! So he moves a little closer. He said, "Honey, can you hear me?" Nothing! He gets a little closer almost right up behind her. And he said, "Honey, can you hear me?" And she turns around and she said, "For the third time, yes!"

And I was working a job, and I was witnessing to this guy. And he asked me that question as he was kind of arguing where I ...
