We are using God's Hymnbook tonight and of course I'm talking about the book of Psalms. Now if you're a new believer or if you've been a believer for awhile and are just now beginning to grow in your walk with God, you shouldn't have a lot of trouble locating the book of Psalms because it's the book right in the middle of your Bible.

I've always said that if you want to learn more about worship and if you want to take your worship to another level, then spend time in the book of Psalms. Here's a book that will strengthen your worship. In fact, much of this book records the lyrics to songs of worship and praise.

Now, I'm going to do you a favor tonight. I'm not going to sing the lyrics of Psalm 25, I'm simply going to speak them. I'm like the pastor who said, "I can carry a tune, I just cannot unload it."

So is it possible to know God's will concerning a matter? Is it possible to know with certainty the guiding hand of God on your life in every circumstance, in every situation?

Well .. I want to tell you that not only is it possible, it is probable. Yes, God still guides His children. We can say along with Isaac in Genesis 24.27, " … As for me, being on the way, the LORD LED ME to the house of my master's brethren."

Psalm 48.14, "For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death."

Isaiah 48.17, "Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who LEADS YOU by the way you should go."

Proverbs 3.6, "In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall DIRECT YOUR PATHS."
