Psalm 25:1-14
It's from God's book of worship that we're learning about how He guides His children. I am so glad tonight that I can count on God to guide me! Do you know why that makes me glad? Because I need His guidance! I need His guidance in the big things of life but also in the small things of life. In fact .. His guidance may be more important in the small things than in the big things.
We read in Song of Solomon 2.15, ".. the little foxes that spoil the vines .."
Have you seen that television commercial with a man sitting at a table with several young children asking the question: Is bigger better? Well .. bigger may be better but you better get the small things right first. For it's the little foxes that ruin the vineyards!
And when it comes to experiencing God's guidance in the small things as well as in the big things .. you need to know that His guidance is available! It is possible to know with certainty the guiding hand of God on your life in every circumstance and in every situation; big or small!
Learn this: God still guides His children!
Psalm 48.14, "For this is God, our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death."
Isaiah 48.17, 'Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who LEADS YOU by the way you should go."
Proverbs 3.6, "In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall DIRECT YOUR PATHS."
And it is that guiding hand of God that we read about here in Psalm 25 as we pick up where we left off last time together thinking on this subject:
