1. How can someone believe in vain?

2. What must we believe and do to be right with God?

The two things Christians stand on and are saved by

1) That Jesus died for our sins

2) That Jesus is alive today

The two things everyone needs - But not everyone wants

1) A Savior - The substitutionary atonement
Galatians 2:21 and 3:13/ John 3:14-18/ 1 Peter 2:24/ 1 Timothy 2:5-6/ Hebrews 7:27 and 9:22

2) A Lord - The supremacy of Jesus
Romans 1:1-4/ Colossians 3:17/ 1 John 2:2-6/ Matthew 19:16-23
