LAST WEEK'S WINNERS:

JESUS' VIEW OF RULES:
Mark 2:23-3:6
The Sabbath was primarily for rest and relationship.
Physical renewal:
Genesis 2:1-3, Exodus 20:8-11, 23:10-12, Leviticus 23:26-32, 25:1-6, Numbers 15:32-36, Jeremiah 17:21-27
Spiritual renewal:
Exodus 31:12-17, Isaiah 58:13-14
Man was not made to obey rules; rules were made to help man.
God's rules are either to protect, or provide for us.
TAKING IT HOME:
When it comes to breaking the rules, there is a huge difference between our needs, and wants.
If we are not meeting needs, then we are not following Jesus!
