Psalm 119:9-11

Psalm 119:9-11-How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. 10 With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! 11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You!

I would like to deal with a subject that is all but forgotten by many in our country today. So neglected in fact that it is often not even thought of by many especially in the church! The evangelicals! The Bible believing, bible teaching people that are saved and on their way to heaven.

Questions:
• How many believe the bible is the only source of truth...that it is God's holy Word?
• How many believe that the 10 Commandments (God's Law) should be taught today?

Today, we want to look at the benefits of having a Family Altar.

It was a place set apart for Worship, Praise, Sacrifice, Dedication and Commitment!

Today, that's what we need! A place of dedication that we commit our lives and our families to God!

WD> Teach them Diligently-To sharpen or whet them!
frequently repeat these things to them, try all ways of instilling them into their minds, and making them pierce into their hearts; as, in whetting a knife, it is turned first on this side, then on that, aim, to sharpen them, and put an edge upon them. NOTICE VERSE 7
