Stuart Briscoe
Romans 6:1-14

2. Their baptism-not a substitute for faith but a sign of it.
3. Their baptism-not a means of justification but testimony to it.
B. What they should know about their position in Christ.
1. Their faith/baptism-incorporated them into Christ.
2. Their faith/baptism-united them to Christ in His death.
a. He died to sin-i.e. He accepted sin's penalty. See 6:23
