1. There is such a thing as eternal life.

b. Synonymous with resurrection from the dead.
2. It is something that is inherited.
a. Receiving that which is promised.
3. It is necessary to do something.
a. But what exactly?
B. Answers.
1. You are a lawyer.
2. What does the law say?

1. "Father"-intimacy of relationship.
2. "In heaven"-majesty of being. v. 13
B. Prayer must be oriented appropriately.
1. A concern for God's glory and recognition.
2. A concern for the establishment of God's kingdom.
C. Prayer approaches individual concerns legitimately. v. 4
1. Physical needs-"daily bread." (Lit. "bread necessary.")
