It is said of the Church in Jerusalem that they operated "with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people" (Acts 2:46-47). Sounds like an interesting, exciting and attractive Church!
I. The Expression of Their Joy.
A. Joy in their fellowship. 2:46

Acts 2
After Peter preached at Pentecost, the small group of believers saw 3,000 "added to their number" (2:41), after which "the Lord added to their number daily"(2:47). Soon "the number of men grew to about 5,000" (4:4) and in Jerusalem "the number of disciples multiplied greatly," and "a great crowd of priests obeyed the faith" (6:7), while in Antioch "a great number believed" (11:21) and around the world "the churches…grew daily in numbers" (16:5).
I. The Message of Salvation.
A. A Savior has been born. Luke 2:11; Acts 5:31
1. A rescuer. See Acts 7:25
B. Salvation has been offered. Acts 15:11
1. A healing. See Acts 4:9; 14:9
2. A deliverance. See Acts 27:20, 31
C. The call must be returned. Acts 2:39; 21
D. The desire must be there. Acts 16:30
E. The commitment must be made.
1. Commitment of belief. Acts 16:31
